Schmidt?s Antiques in Ypsilanti, Michigan
is a 5th generation family owned Antiques store and Auction Gallery. We currently conduct
monthly auctions that we call ?Schmidt?s Friday Nights?. These are fast paced sales of mid
range Antiques and Collectables all gathered from local Estates and Collections, these are
un-catalogued auctions with no buyer?s premium, sort of like a high speed consignment shop
with 400-500 new items each month. We also conduct larger catalogued auctions of fine Art and
Antiques several times each year and auctions of Estates and Real Estate as needed.
Our 15,000 sq ft Antiques Gallery is open Tuesday through Sunday until 5:00 p.m. each day.
Please give us a call at 734 434-2660 for a no cost consultation to discuss your auction
needs and to see for yourself what our 90 plus years of Auction experience can do for you.
In addition, we can market your items at auction online through Live Auctioneers.com,
and we also hold on-site auctions or in-home priced sales depending on the best way to market
the material in each situation.

Appraisals |
|
Selling so many antiques and collectables
each month puts us at a great advantage when appraising the market value of your collection.
This combined with our experience and knowledge, enables us to give you an up to date picture
of your collection?s true worth. We do both Estate Appraisals and Insurance Appraisals depending
on your individual needs. When planning an insurance appraisal we usually advise clients to
speak with their insurance agents first, to find out exactly what the carrier requires
in an appraisal. QUICK TIP: Next time you have a camera out for a holiday or event, take
photos or video of the items you really care about and store them away in your safe deposit box,
just in case.
